AI Usage Disclosure
Updated 30 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-23-v1
1. What uses AI
Lenny chat, planning and preparation suggestions, schedule-file extraction and some generated wording may use a third-party AI provider. Anthropic is the active text-AI provider. The service also supports OpenAI or Google Gemini when configured. Optional iPhone dictation, where available and enabled, sends selected audio to OpenAI for transcription. The application also uses scheduling rules to place and validate sessions.
2. Information and controls
When you choose an AI feature, relevant prompts and planning context may be sent to the configured provider: for example task and event names, availability, conversation text or uploaded schedule content. Passwords and payment card details are not intentionally included. Review proposed timetable changes before approving them; an optional automatic-rescheduling setting can move eligible sessions when enabled, and its moves are shown with Undo. AI can be wrong or unsuitable. Verify important dates and decisions yourself; AI output is not medical, legal, financial or academic advice.
3. Limits and provider practices
AI use requires the applicable Premium, legacy-trial or access-grant entitlement and is subject to usage limits. Features may pause during incidents or for cost control. The server supports Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Gemini for text requests; optional dictation uses OpenAI. The provider used for each feature depends on deployed configuration. Provider retention, training practices and processing locations depend on their terms. We make no zero-retention or zero-training promise. See the Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy.
