Terms of Service

Updated 30 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-23-v1

These terms are provided by Leonard Chee Hao Jie, trading as CONSISTENCYAU.COM, ABN 75 267 956 505, an Australian sole trader based in Victoria.

1. The agreement

These terms describe your agreement with the operator of consistency. You must read and accept the current Terms and Privacy Policy, and affirm that you are at least 18, before using protected features. You can decline and sign out.

2. What consistency. does

consistency. is a weekly planner. It asks you a few questions about a normal week (when you sleep, your fixed commitments such as classes or work, and when you focus best), and you tell it the areas you want time for and how much. On the free plan you place your sessions on the timetable yourself. On the paid plan Lenny, the app’s planner, places them in the hours you are free, over a rolling two weeks.

  • Schedule lists what is coming up, day by day, with a check-in in the morning and a check-out in the evening where you say what got done.
  • A missed session can be moved to the next hour you are free, on the paid plan. If there is no room, the app says so rather than guessing.
  • Calendar shows your week and your month. Events holds dated things such as exams and interviews. On the paid plan Lenny can add preparation sessions before them.
  • Consistency shows your streak of closed days, your year, and your hours by area.
  • You can download your week as a PDF or an image.

The schedule is only as good as the information you give it. It is a tool to help you plan; it does not guarantee any result. The service changes over time, and features may be added, changed or removed.

3. Lenny and AI

On the paid plan you can talk to Lenny, the app’s planner. The chat uses artificial intelligence to understand what you write and to word its replies. AI can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. Nothing it says is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and you remain responsible for your own decisions, including anything affecting your health or study.

Nothing changes without you. When Lenny in the chat suggests adding a session, moving a missed one, rebuilding your week or adding an event, he shows you the change first, and your week only changes when you confirm it. The one exception is a setting you choose: Automatic rescheduling (Settings, paid plan only, off unless you turn it on) lets Lenny move his own sessions within the same week when something new gets in the way, without asking first. Each move is listed with Undo.

4. Accounts

You need an account, made with an email address and a password. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think your account has been used by someone else. You must be at least 18 to use the service. At first sign-in, you will be asked to affirm that you are at least 18 and accept the current Terms and Privacy Policy. The affirmation is not independent proof of age. If you decline, you can sign out and contact support without using the app.

5. Subscription and payment

We offer a free plan and one paid subscription plan (Premium, billed monthly). Anyone can create an account and use the free plan. Premium is bought on our website; the current price is on our Pricing page. There is no free trial. Some accounts may receive free Premium access for a stated period (an access grant). A grant does not turn into a paid subscription automatically. When it expires, the free plan and saved planning data remain.

Payments are processed by Stripe, which sells the subscription on our behalf and collects and pays any GST, VAT or sales tax that applies. Checkout shows the final price, currency and any applicable tax before payment, including for customers outside Australia. We are not GST-registered.

A subscription renews every month until cancelled. You can view and manage it through Settings → Billing, which opens Stripe’s customer portal. Cancellation, renewal, failed payments and refund requests are described in our Subscription, Refund and Cancellation Policy.

6. Friends

You can add friends with a friend code. A friendship only starts when the other person accepts. Once it has, a friend can see only what you are doing right now (the name of the session you are in, when it started and when it ends, or that you are free) and your streak. They cannot see your timetable, your notes, your areas, your record or your conversations. You can remove a friend at any time. Only share your code with people you want to add.

7. Your content and data

What you put into consistency. (your areas, sessions, notes, ticks, events and conversations) stays yours.

  • Start over (Settings → Privacy) deletes every area, session and day and begins the questions again. Your account and any subscription stay.
  • Delete my account (Settings → Privacy) cancels any subscription first, then deletes the authentication account and linked application data. Independent billing, invitation, security and provider records may remain. See the Data Retention Policy.
  • If you want a copy of your data before you go, write to us (see section 12) and we will send it.

How we handle your data is set out in the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to attack or overload it, to probe or get around its security or its payment, to resell access, or to misuse the chat (including trying to get other people’s data out of it or to make it produce unlawful content). We may suspend or close accounts that do.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or stop the service. If we stop it entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can download what you need, and we will not charge for any period after it closes.

10. Liability

We aim to provide a useful service, but plans and AI answers can be wrong and the service may be interrupted. You should check important dates, health decisions and other advice yourself. To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. This does not exclude or limit any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a material way, we will communicate the change where required and ask you to accept a new version before further protected use. The date above identifies this version; your acceptance is recorded separately with a timestamp.

12. Contact and governing law
